ranis have no customer service

My sister went into Ranis with her children. The sales assistants (who were daughters of the owner) were not particularly friendly when approaching her about her children (who admitedly were touching a dummy - but stopped as soon as their mother asked them not to). My sister spoke to her children and asked them to stop but then this matter was made into a scene when the sales assistants interfered with a conversation my sister was having with her son. My sister tried to explain to the sales assistants that they were children (3 yrs)and did not undertstand and apologised to the staff. However the matter went on and on and by this time my sister was getting a little annoyed by the behaviour of the sales assistants. After she left the shop one of the sales assistants came out and started screaming at my sister claiming that she had been rude to her sister and asked her never to return to the shop. There are so many shops on Ilford lane and being regular shoppers at these shops I am horrified that customers with children can be treated this way. Of course the owners and workers have a right to protect their property from being damaged, but for goodness sake creating a scene in public and embarassing the customer is un acceptable from my view. I think the sales assistants need to be sent on a 'Customer Service' course. They need to be able to take control of a situation, not make it worse. I'm sorry but this has left a bitter taste in my books and I don't care how good the clothes are in Ranis - if you can't put the interests of your customers first then we wont be shopping at your shop or recommending it to our friends/cousins who often ask us for advice on where to do their wedding shopping. I did telephone them to let them know my views as my sister had been made to feel embarassed in public and outside the shop, but yet again they were very defensive - I didn't feel that they were willing to accept any responsibility of the situation and therefore have not satisfied my consumer expectations. I have children of my own as do many of my friends and would not want to shop somewhere where such hostility exists.

i would say the outfits are a bit pricy but they do have beutiful and unique outfits,most of my outfits are from their i am a regular customer and i do love the customer service the owners son is very helpful and i would defantly recommend for others to shop thier.

ranis designer collection is heavy although their clothes are a bit expensive, but have good quality with good designs thank you .
