I took my Granda in for a service and got a phone call telling me the Spark plug was cross threaded. The cost would be �£400 to fix. When I pointed out they were the ones who serviced it last and to check. They came back and said 'Oh we have found a way to fix it' , with some form or another' I found out it was they who had done it and got a local mechanic to sort it for me for �£20. I then discoved they had not changed the plugs, when I took it for a six moth service to another garage.Of course proving is another thing.Croos threaded was 'Fanny' and a con.Avoid this at all costs. The Oil I paid for was not used and a 'Cheapo' was put in.How they get away wit it is beyond wondering whats is going on. AVOID and save.

Service for Pug 306 - late 2007

Took the car along for a service. I knew there were some issues with the car. All were picked up by this garage, however they sheared a locking wheel nut on my car [cost �£40 to get that sorted elsewhere]. They gave me a list of issues that needed sorting out. All I agreed with. But, each repair cost skyhigh prices. For example. All my brakes and brake discs needed changing. they quoted over �£400!! I bought all the parts myself - �£125 and got my local garage to fit them for �£60. �£185 compared there their quote of �£400+. RIP OFF MERCHANTS. I only wenet to this garage as I had Tesco vouchers which enabled me to have a �£185 service for �£57. The man in the garage even grumbled at this. Grumpy git. I do not recommend this garage [or chain of them]. Steer well clear.
