hi ive been going to rupas for more than 6 years in green street and became very close to the owners. since when they had opened in 2006 in gantshill it was much easier for me to travel their and been going their happily but sometimes they do have fights which does look unprofessional but since shamin had left their hasent been any fights of my knowledge but i can tell you that i have been to other places where other business treat their staff like crap literally and when ever im their all of the staff have no bad comments about rupa but with a few exceptions shamin i know rupa she has never said anything bad to anyone ask all of the staff they would agree with me. and to the earlier comment i dont understand because when i have my underlip done it smells pleasent i agree its not the most plesent but which are, all thee ones ive smelt are worse from previous salons. i dont know but it could be the staffs breath probebly shamins. the staff ive asked always get very good money but i dont understand all of rupas old staff like shamin geeta and a few others take advantage and as i recall i overheard the staff talking about shamin taken numbers of clients and thats why recently their hasent been as many clients as when shamin was their, but just to confirm if what i heard was correct i asked them and it was true. as i ve told you my experience has been absolutely pleasant and thats not Gina M when ever im their they always spend 5-10 mins each eyebrow but they take into special consideration of they clients whom have booked the appointments
I have been going to Rupa's since they opened & it used to be a very friendly environment. Unfortunatly Shamine the girl I always used to see left all off a sudden, so I was very reluctant to have someone else waxing me, I then let another girl work on me Rupi, & then the other day I go on there & the only people left working are the people who do not speak english & tend to do what they want with you, it appears to me that they have become very slack in there & most of the girls are constantley shouting at each other & also when having your eyebrows done it is not nice to have someone cooling the wax in your face smelling of Garlic, enough to make you gag in the chair..........I do not really want to go there anymore as the professionability seems to be lacking since Shamin left, she was the biggest asset to that shop, how could they let her go.......oh well when you pay people crap & they work all the hours, it is only a matter of time before they move on, but the people that have remained are not professional in any way & as I travel from such a distance I really cant see the point in getting in growing hairs from people that just rush to get you out of the chair for the next client - even if you have made an appointment.
they accept the credit card!
